BE My Guest Apprentice Wows at Showcase

Charlie Newell of BE My Guest in Southsea wowed guests and judges with her stunning bridal/prom creation at HAHA Training's Student Showcase.

Held on the 6th February at Portsmouth College, the Showcase featured a stunning catwalk display that showed off the talents of hair and beauty apprentices that are currently working with HAHA Training through their partnership with Portsmouth College.

16 year old Charlie is currently studying her NVQ Level 2 at HAHA, and entered her gorgeous creation into the Bridal/Prom Hair category of the competition. Although Charlie didn't win, she certainly impressed the judges with her beautiful hair-up styling skills. Speaking of Charlie's big Showcase achievement, BE My Guest owner, Craig Rogers said,

Charlie did so well at the Student Showcase and we are beyond proud of her. She was really up against it yesterday, as her model couldn't make it until almost 4pm, but she pulled it off with such style and confidence. Although sadly she didn't win, Charlie is a winner in our eyes, and she's now hungry for more competitions to enter.

Charlie added,

I have always wanted to do hairdressing since I was about 12 years old, my passion for the industry comes from hairdressers within my family who I aspire to. I love to be creative and to share the full experience with my clients. I love being part of the BE My Guest team, the support and training I receive is amazing. I look forward to entering more competitions and being the best hairdresser I can be.
