Beauty Tool RevAir Takes off on Channel 4

Share

Presented by Rylan Clark-Neal, the latest Channel 4 commissioned series hitting TV screens this festive season is ‘Buy It Now for Christmas’. The studio-entertainment show sees inventors, entrepreneurs and licence holders pitch their innovative and ingenious products to leading retailers and an audience of real Christmas shoppers.

RevAir, the world’s first and only reverse air-dryer, was invited to pitch following a tough pre-show interview and sparked real interest in the audience of shopper’s professional retail buyers. Drying even the curliest hair straight in a fraction of the time of your everyday hair dryer, the RevAir was brought to life on-screen by Founding Partner and Co-Inventor, Debra Isaacson:

I was a bit petrified to be appearing on Buy It Now for Christmas, but as soon as the wall rolled away and I could feel the studio’s enthusiasm, my nerves melted away and I was actually having great fun.

Showing now on UK TV screens in the height of the busiest shopping period of the year, the four-part series returns in a new peak-time slot. RevAir was shown on 12th December, 8pm on Channel 4. In each programme, the seller has just 90 seconds to demonstrate their product to an audience of 100 potential customers who are invited to ask questions and show their interest through a hand-held voting devise. The founder then faces the big-name retailers who can make a potentially life-changing bulk order.

A star of the show, the ground-breaking reverse air-drying RevAir was bought by Amazon Launchpad, an inventive destination born from the largest online retailer in the world. Bought in a bulk of 350 units with a retail value of £125,650, Amazon Launchpad will showcase the cutting-edge RevAir Reverse Air-Dryer this festive shopping season.

To get the order from Amazon Launchpad, wow, I thought the charming Rylan would have to pull me back down to the stage, I was floating so high! - Debra Isaacson, RevAir Founding Partner

How it works…

RevAir’s innovative Reverse-Air technology uses suction to dry hair in a way far superior to blow-drying. Heat is pulled inward, not blown, providing a more pleasant, cooler experience, whilst surface water is pulled away allowing the heat to work more quickly and effectively. Plus, using 50% less energy than conventional blow-drying, RevAir is not only FASTER, HEALTHIER and EASIER, but GREENER too.

  • Even drying from root to tip as heat is applied more efficiently within a confined space.
  • Longer lasting styles thanks to its enhanced drying building stronger hydrogen bond links.
  • Less frizz because air flows in the natural direction of the cuticles, smoothing them for softness.
  • Luminous shine as hair strands are automatically aligned.
  • Effortlessly straightens hair, so no need for brush work.
  • Hair cannot get caught inside: Aerodynamic design and thoroughly tested engineering for smooth, unobstructed flow of hair.
  • Smart Wand Technology: The Wand includes an internal sensor to monitor heat levels minimizing heat exposure.
