Colour Contouring at Charles Worthington

Share

Once only associated with make-up, Charles Worthington’s new contouring service promises to change the shape of your face using the latest professional colouring techniques.

Forget last year’s Ombre and dip-dye trend, 2015 sees the arrival of clever hair colouring using professional techniques of ‘colour paint on’ and ‘micro-lights’. The experts at Charles Worthington will create a truly bespoke colour service using their iconic colour fan to create a colour prescription based on a person’s skin tone, and then a personal prescription of light and dark tones to contour the face shape.

Contouring is giving shape to an area of the face and enhancing the facial structure using make-up; however Marc Trinder, Art Team Director at Charles Worthington, has explored using light and dark tones which will create shadows and depth. This can be applied in specific areas to completely alter either an entire face shape or specific areas.

This colour service was first developed on rising actress and model, Gala Gordon, of whom Principal Stylist, Mathew Soobroy was tasked with using natural colour to contour her face. Mathew used super-fine highlights around her forehead and hairline combined with a natural colour gloss for shine - Gala couldn’t be happier with her ‘contoured’ glossy brown locks.

The colour contouring service is a perfect way of giving yourself healthier, glossier hair for the new year and to introduce tone and depth into highlighted hair. Change the shape of your face with Charles Worthington’s new colour service, from only £85 with our Colour Experts.
