Original & Mineral is an Australian salon professional brand founded by Jose Bryce Smith, who opened the first ammonia-free salon in Australia 20 years ago.
Bringing nature and luxury together in a line of hair colour, care and styling products that are safe, effective, and beautiful to use, Detox Conditioner is an innovative new product complementing the existing Detox Shampoo, which acts like a make-up remover for hair, leaving it squeaky clean after build-up from styling products, swimming in chlorine and the natural build-up of oils which can make hair look dull on top.
A softening lightweight conditioner with peppermint oil and ginger root to help soothe and refresh the scalp. This gentle formula provides hydration and softness without weighing the hair down and is perfect to use on your roots - people often worry about conditioning roots but this part of the hair needs moisture just as much when it grows through as when it becomes mid lengths and ends, and the scalp also benefits from being moisturised - it is skin after all! Not conditioning the roots can leave hair more vulnerable to becoming parched and damaged in the long term.

O&M Packaging
Introducing O&M’s brand-new bottle with a pop top lid. The iconic new ‘milk bottles’ are made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) material using 35% less plastic. They are kinder on the environment and much easier to squeeze (with 25% increased flow rate). Salon professional results are at O&M’s core with a clean conscience. All O&M products are colour safe and PETA Certified Vegan and cruelty free.
O&M’s formulations replace harsh chemicals with active natural extracts and minerals, including native Australian ingredients like Lilly Pilly, Banksia Flower, Quandong, Tasmanian Sea Kelp and Davidson Plum, as well as quality essential oils that deliver real benefits.
The products are made in O&M’s own solar powered factory, and use PCR/Ocean Waste Plastic, aluminium and FSC packaging, partner with recycling program Sustainable Salons ANZ, and are PETA cruelty free certified. They’ve been named Best New Hair Launch 2023 in Woman&Home’s 100 Best Beauty Buy Awards.
