Great Lengths Launch LPT Initiative

Share

Great Lengths UK have been working closely with The Little Princess Trust for four years with their efforts fronted and supported by James Henderson, Great Lengths certified stylist and salon owner of M Hair in Nottingham.

Due to the success of the support and the ongoing need for its services, Great Lengths have taken on the initiative globally. Great Lengths can now be donated around the globe directly to The Little Princess Trust who provide free of charge, real hair wigs to children and young people who have experienced hair loss through cancer treatment or similar conditions. The quality and quantity of hair donations received so far from Great Lengths UK has enabled the charity to be able to start increasing their production of longer hair wigs, and will now be creating wigs from purely Great Lengths hair donations rather than a mix with consumer hair.

James Henderson comments on his new role as Great Lengths Global LPT Charity Ambassador:

I am very excited about my new role and the journey ahead. Since starting my collaboration with Great Lengths and The Little Princess Trust in 2015 it has always been my ambition to grow this partnership on a global scale. Great Lengths Universal are now opening this initiative up to over 60 countries that they currently trade in. I will be working closely with the salons and the trust to ensure the expansion is a success and continues to increase our contribution to providing wigs for young people in need of them.

Joscelin McCourt, Managing Director for Great Lengths UK & Ireland comments on the collaboration:

We are really proud to have inspired Great Lengths Universal to take up this initiative and roll it out globally to their network. For us, it has been working well for the last four years and the amount of people wanting to donate just keeps on increasing. Alongside James we are working to encourage the global territories to join us in this partnership, reduce waste in salon and give back to a good and inspiring cause.
