Backstage at the Missoni fashion show, the ghd hairdressing team, led by Anthony Turner, curated the hairstyles for the collection - inspired by geometrics and graphics, a distinctive characteristic of the maison.
For this Missoni AW20 fashion show I thought of creating very sober and simple, but extremely elegant hair looks, bringing inspiration from the 90s, but in a minimal and light way. - Anthony Turner, using ghd backstage

Anthony Turner and the ghd hairstylist team created two different super sleek looks for the models. To achieve them, the hairstylists dried the hair using the ghd oval brush (£21.95) with ghd helios (£159), the new professional hairdryer by ghd. The contoured nozzle, directs the air flow at a high speed to obtain maximum precision, giving the possibility of creating a super flat effect and with a healthy and extra glossy appearance from reflected light.
For a richer texture they applied extensions on the back of the head to ensure volume and compactness.
To obtain maximum shine, they used the ghd platinum+ smart styler (£189) to ensure perfectly smooth and firm hair, finished with a neck band to aid shape.
For the second sleek look, the hairstylists defined a perfect middle parting by separating two central locks about 4-5 cm, these were then gelled and oiled for greater brightness and softness: the sections were then tied behind the nape going from ear to ear.
