Mark Fast X R+Co - Winter Ocean Drive
For AW21, Mark Fast embarks on an imaginary winter ocean drive, delving under the shades of the dark blues into beams of new light reflections.
Mark’s use of materials and fabrics in the collection capture the shapes, colours, and textures of the deep oceans and his imaginary under water civilisation, channelling the constancy of the sea and the importance of permeance as a source of positivity and stability.
Mark’s care-free and optimistic spirit resonates throughout his colourful, unisex menswear and womenswear pieces, whilst celebrating femininity and sexuality throughout his desirable figure hugging, demi couture dresses.
The Hair
The hair was led by Maria Kovacs for R+Co, and the inspiration was: “Let’s go below, underwater, mimicking reflective texture.”
Get the look:
- Place hair in a tuxedo parting. Follow the line on the inside corner of the eye. Work your way towards the crown. This ensures a perfect side parting.
- Take a section at the nape and spray the hair with R+Co DALLAS Thickening Spray, blow-dry the hair straight and close to the head.
- Apply R+Co CHIFFON Styling Mousse to the front hairline and the parting. Dry the hair on a cool setting, again close to the head.
- Lock in the shape with R+Co OUTTER SPACE Flexible Hold Hairspray, then spray the hairline and root areas with R+Co VICIOUS Strong Hold Hairspray.
- Create shiny dual texture as a finish, spray on top of the hair R+Co NEON LIGHTS Dry Oil Spray.
