OSMAN X Authentic Beauty Concept
Authentic Beauty Concept made its London Fashion Week debut this month thanks to Adam Garland, who was the lead stylist backstage at the OSMAN Spring Summer 2020 catwalk show.
Held at Carlton House in London, Osman’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection was bold and romantic. With ruffle tiers and sleek lines, the collection showcased Osman’s ‘women of the world come together, their many faces, mothers and daughters, stronger and stronger, in an act of sisterhood, alliance, allegiance, devotion and power, the full feminine beauty in its perfect balance, enigmatic and triumphant, they are here to overcome, they are here to stay.’
The hair brief given to Adam was to take each girl as they came. Not to over work or complicate the hair. Adam said;
We wanted each girl to look like she always has the hair we created - undone, minimal product, but still an element of strength and cool. It’s the girl who always gets stopped and asked what she does with her hair and the answer is always, nothing.

- Work with the hair’s natural texture.
