Goodbye London Salon

My fourth visit here and have decided I will no longer be going to my usual London salon near my workplace in Liverpool Street. I get everything I get in London here but with more friendly and attentive service. I recommend Melissa and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Consistently great

Always happy with my results and flawless service. It is refreshing to see a salon that is proud of being a village salon. Warm, friendly, happy and always listen to what you want.

Always worth the drive

I have been coming here for over a year and am always looked after in so many ways. Yes it’s a 35 minute drive, but the staff are so welcoming, accommodating and lovely that it feels such a treat coming to the salon. I always recommend them to my family and friends and think Jenny is a gem.

First Class Salon and friendly team

I am new to Colchester and was not happy with salons in town. I was recommended this salon and now know why! My consultation was the most informative I have ever had. For the first time in my life I was actually listened to by a hairdresser and had options explained to me. My hair is getting comments everywhere I go and my confidence is sky high!

Top Salon & Top Team

Delighted with my colour correction. Had an awful experience with my regular salon down the road and had to walk in shame for a few days. Plucked up the courage to try a new salon and am over the moon I did. Gave me my first ever comprehensive consultation and am so happy with the results. Lovely atmosphere and they use great quality products. I can feel my hair feels healthy and smooth like never before. Thank you!

I have never been to this salon before and I can safely say it was Great. So much time and care was taken to get the colour I was looking for right. And WOW did it look right. I will defiantly be going back next time I need some work doing..... Great Job I feel like a new person... Thanks Guys

1st Salon I have fallen in love with! 5 Stars all the way!

I am known as a fussy customer and have spent years changing salons in Colchester trying to find the one that will gain my loyalty. I just want a salon to listen to me and make my hair the way I want it. Is that being fussy? I am so delighted to find this salon. I feel like a new woman and cannot help smiling when I receive a compliment about my hair or look in the mirror. Everybody smiles, everybody is friendly... simply love this place. Style, atmosphere, people and quality... 10/10. And not to forget... my hair finally looks as I always dreamed but was told it was not possible in other salons. Thank you Hair Lounge!!!. Best salon in Colchester by far!

Wonderful Salon

A wonderful salon with such smiley staff. I am new to the area and asked local people which salon they would recommend and each time Hair Lounge was mentioned. Felt at ease by the Manageress Caroline and had a wonderful experience. The salon and staff has a real warmth about it and I had complete faith in Caroline as it was clear she had experience and confidence. When she found out I was new to the area she gave me lots of local tips and recommendations which was nice. The best bit of all? I LOVE my hair more than ever and have never received so many compliments in my life! Thank you Caroline and the lovely junior that shampooed my hair (sorry forgot her name, lovely sweet girl).
