The first person you’ll see when you walk through our salon doors is Julie, our Salon Manager and Front of House. Julie has been with us for quite some time, joining Timba Hair and Beauty as our receptionist back in 1999. Today, her role at the salon is incredibly significant, as she manages the responsibility of the day-to-day running of Timba Hair and Beauty. Within her time working at the salon, Julie has gained a diploma in Management and has attended several courses on team leadership and business growth, both locally and in London. Julie says she feels proud to have been on the journey for so long, being a part of the excitement as Timba Hair and Beauty have picked up various awards over the years.

“The business has grown and we have developed into the dynamic team we have today, and the surroundings of our salon are simply stunning. I enjoy working here so much, no two days are ever the same and I’m both thankful and proud to have been here from the start.” – Julie.

I first started working at Timba 19 years ago as a junior. After becoming pregnant with my second child I decided to stop training and was offered a part-time position on reception. I have since worked at Timba on and off for around 12 years, whilst also gaining a Diploma in Counselling, Psychotherapy and a Degree in Child Psychology, as well as experiencing working with a variety of people in different sectors.

I love the glamour of hair and beauty along with the environment that comes with it. In my spare time I enjoy reading, taking long walks, travelling and socialising with the opportunity to meet new people.

Meet Ebonie, a Colour Expert and Senior Stylist at the salon. Ebonie joined us in 2018 with over 18 years’ experience. Ebonie has travelled the UK, taking her interest and passion for hairdressing to new levels, gaining invaluable experience from some of Britain’s most renowned and talented hair stylists. Making the top five in the UK final of Goldwell’s Colour Zoom competition in 2019. Ebonie has also achieved the title of Colour Expert – the highest level of achievement in the Goldwell education portfolio . Ebonie demonstrates her passion for the hairdressing industry, using her time at the salon to not just treat clients to exceptional, luxurious hair treatments, but to also educate and share her extensive knowledge in hair colouring.

Ebonie says she enjoys supporting the team and helping the assistants to grow and become the best that they can be within the industry via education. “I am so fortunate to work at Timba. It’s a fantastic salon, continually striving to deliver the best for our clients. I’ve made some incredible friends both through my colleagues here and my amazing clients, too.” - Ebonie.

Hi, I’m Ceri and have recently joined the team as a colour expert. I started my hairdressing journey in 2005 and have always been passionate about all things colour and I am a big colour geek. I enjoy anything from a root tint to highlights to a beautiful sun-kissed balayage. I feel really lucky that I still love what I do and get to make clients feel the best versions of themselves, whether this be a big colour change or a slight tweak. There isn’t anything better than seeing my client through the salon journey, starting with their colour, toning and finishing with a fabulous blow-dry. Outside of work I have 3 young children to keep me busy and am a recently converted yoga lover!

The first thing you’ll notice about Ozzy is his infectious smile, but it’s his talent and incredible rapport with customers that makes him a firm favourite at Timba. When he’s not busy cycling and travelling the globe, you’ll find Ozzy at our salon, conversing with our clients and treating them to luxurious hair treatments. Our Senior Stylist has achieved a silver place in Goldwell UK Colour Category, amongst other trophies and accolades for his work within the industry.

If Ozzy is passionate about anything, it’s beautiful hair, and his interest in the industry has taken him from London to Las Vegas and New Zealand. Ozzy says he loves working within such a talented environment. “At Timba, it’s a great opportunity to keep improving, with an amazing team on side and great clientele.” – Ozzy.

Another member of our senior stylist team is Katie who joined Timba Hair and Beauty in 2017. Katie has worked within the hairdressing industry for over 12 years gaining valuable experience. Katie excels in cutting hair and loves the challenge of a restyle. Her cutting talents also include the art of Barbering (Gents, we’ve got you covered!).

Katie says,. “My awards and qualifications have given me great confidence in my work and my favourite part of working at the salon is cutting and having the opportunity to be creative. I also really enjoy meeting new clients and working with the wonderful team at Timba.” – Katie.

Say hello to Hannah, another of our very talented Senior Stylists. With over 14 years’ experience in hairdressing and a natural ability to make clients feel great, Hannah is loved and recommended by many of our regular customers. Hannah has been a part of the Timba team for many years, building an extremely loyal clientele. Hannah says she feels proud to work at such a fabulous salon.

Hannah has completed several Goldwell education courses at the London Academy and has also completed the Goldwell Master Colourist qualification – an effort that’s significantly contributed to her knowledge base and hair styling skills. Due to her hard working and efforts in the salon, Hannah was rewarded the opportunity to venture out to Barcelona to watch the worldwide GlobalZoom colour competition.

“I love every aspect of my job, seeing transformations with colours and cuts and putting a smile on my client’s faces. Away from Timba, I have two daughters and a dog to keep me on my toes!” – Hannah.

Hi, my name is Claire O’Brien, I am a senior stylist here at Timba Hair and beauty.
I have been working as a hairdresser for 21 years. I cover all aspects of hairdressing from beautiful blondes, to bright creative colours. I love increasing my colouring, cutting and product knowledge. I’m currently training in London to become a KMS ambassador. Timba has a great team of stylists and a busy and varied clientele…. From first hair cuts….to total transformations. Never a boring day at the salon
Outside work I am a busy mum of 3, I enjoy our family time and socialising with friends.

Hey I’m Charlie, I’m a stylist here at Timba hair & beauty I have been In the hair industry for 6 years, and my favourite hair technique is balayage & anything creative. I am always keeping up with the latest trends and techniques through in-salon training or online. I really enjoy working at Timba as it’s a very fun and busy salon. I hope to follow in my sister Katie’s footsteps, as she’s amazing at cutting hair. Look forward to seeing you!

Hi, my name is Caitlin, I’m an assistant at Timba. I have been here for 2 and a half years now and absolutely love it! I am always enthusiastic and eager to learn. My in-salon training every Tuesday is just amazing and I can not wait to be on the shop floor working with you. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

Hi, I'm Lucy! I’m an assistant at Timba and have been working here for a year. I love working at the salon, I can’t wait to start competing in colour competitions.When I'm not working I love hiking and being outdoors!
